The weight of the warm blanket settled comfortably around Leo's shoulders. He sat on the back porch, watching the fireflies dance in the twilight. The air was still and warm, and the sounds of the night—crickets chirping, the distant howl of a dog—were a gentle symphony. He was at ease.

His sister sent him a text. "Have you seen this?" The text contained a link to a baking website. His prized bread recipe, the one he had spent years perfecting, was now being presented as a "new discovery" from a different baker. He shrugged, leaned back, and took a long sip of his lemonade. The bread was delicious; that was all that mattered.
